The Chennai 600028 gang is back with a sequel. It will be director Venkat Prabhu's next outing, and as per sources, Venkat plans to work with the same gang of boys with whom he worked with in Chennai 28 — Shiva, Jai, Nitin Sathya, Premgi and Vijay Vasanth — once again.
"Venkat recently narrated the story to the boys. The team is kicked about the sequel's storyline and so, we will see them in the lead roles once again. Venkat will start shooting from next month.
After working with top stars like Ajith, Suriya and Karthi in his last three films, he is back with the gang of boys he is comfortable working with. While the rest of the cast and crew is yet to be decided, Yuvan Shankar Raja is on board for the music," reveals a source.
