Kamal Haasan’s trilingual Sabash Naidu/Sabash Kundu, as is known to movie buffs, will be shot in the USA for majority of its portions. The unit was said to have reached the US by the 2nd week of May but it looks like it did not happen.
Kamal Haasan announced in his Twitter page about the crew’s plans now. He had tweeted, “Off to LA with 3 bound scripts. US team awaits with sighs of relief. Anymore delay would have ruined all plans. All is well ..for now ;-)”.
It appears like the team was involved in the story discussion for a long time. Kamal had also mentioned through his tweet, “Day 2 7 hours of reading and still smiling. Thanks to Naidu & Kundu They never let the smile slip from our faces”.
Sabash Naidu/Kundu will be directed by Rajeev Kumar with Kamal Haasan, Ramya Krishnan, Brammanandam, Shruti Haasan, Sourabh Shukla and Manu Narayan in the cast list. Ilayaraja scores music for this venture.
